Introduce

Bio-analytical science provides training for advanced bio-analytical technology, which is the core of technological competitiveness in the field of modern biology and bio-technology industries. Students have experience in R&D and application in an interdisciplinary environment and are moving forward to become an expert in their main field. Recently, in biotechnology (BT) research, high-speed, high-throughput analytical technology by using world-class cutting-edge research equipments plays a crucial role. This advanced technology allows us to observe three-dimensional images of the target material at the molecular level. Bio-analytical science is a systematic study of these advanced convergent technologies for BT, NT and IT research and interdisciplinary research which is related to Biophysics, Physical Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Modern Biology. In particular, this course requires advanced high-priced experimental equipment and there are limits to educating at domestic universities under current conditions. In both KBSI and KRISS, we have experts who have been engaged in development of analytical equipment and technologies for many years and world-class cutting-edge research equipments as well. The objective of this major is to develop advanced analytical techniques and teach the operation of high-technology large research equipment and to train specialists for research equipment and creative future talents.
